If you haven't heard of Joseph yet, there's no doubt you will soon. The Portland-based trio, made up of sisters Allison, Meegan, and Natalie Closner, make the kind of deeply harmonic folk music that only siblings can. This past weekend, the trio traveled to Happy Valley, Oregon for Pickathon, where we followed them through two shows, a starry-eyed meet-and-greet, a few interviews conducted on hay bales, and one happy reunion with old friends The Oh Hellos.
