Bassheads throughout the internet, we have some news for you— we will be streaming dubstep DJ Datsik’s show at Bogart’s in Cincinnati. Tune in on January 22 at 10:30 PM Eastern right here, or on our YouTube page to catch the show!
The 28-year-old EDM trailblazer Troy Beetles has performed at venues around the globe and is now currently on his Ninja Nation Tour, which spans through North America. “I am really excited to be going back on the road for what is undoubtedly going to be the biggest tour I have ever done. We are gonna be on the road for four months with some insane new talent as well as some names you’ve grown to love,” he says. “We will have the infamous PK sound system with us again and the new Vortex 3.0 at most of the shows. This tour is gonna be on a whole new level of sick and I can’t wait!”
Dubbed by YourEDM as a shortlist act for the title of “god of bass music,” Beetles has become one of the most revered artists within the realm of electronic music over the last several years. Though he got his start with releases on Dim Mak he now spearheads his own label, Firepower. Heavy, pounding synths with wobbly bass lines are what you should expect from Datsik’s show, but that’s not all the Canadian producer is skilled at. Boasting collaborations with Snoop Dogg, Travis Barker and fellow bass musician Excision, it’s clear that Beetles can do more than just make the ground shake.
