The Red Hot Chili Peppers kicked off their Getaway Tour last week and a few days into it, we hit the pit to get some picture proof for you. See 22 live shots from their Dallas stop above! We always enjoy their fearless on-stage fashion choices (remember the socks?!), and Flea's patchwork ensemble as well as frontman Anthony's pill-party leggings.
The Getaway World tour supports the band's 11th studio album of the same name, released in June of last year and produced by Danger Mouse. They played an 18-song set at the American Airlines Center last night, including recent singles, "Dark Necessities" "Go Robot" and "Sick Love" as well as two other Getaway tracks, "Detroit" and "Goodbye Angels." Peep the full set list below.
The LA natives are still packing in the fan favorites, while satiating those thirsty for some new tunes, as The Getaway marks the band's return after a 5-year hiatus.
The band's next stop is New Orleans, and the North American leg of the tour continues on through July 1, wrapping with a two-night stand at the United Center in Chicago.
If you already have tickets to the Chili Peppers' jam sesh, get to the show early to catch openers Irontom, Jack Irons, Trombone Shorty and K-Pop phenomenon BABYMETAL.
