Chris Cornell's Final Show: Watch the Late Soundgarden Singer's Powerful Last Performance

Soundgarden played Detroit last night, hours before the untimely passing of lead singer Chris Cornell.

Chris Cornell died hours after a show with Soundgarden on Wednesday night (May 17), and fans who saw the legendary Seattle band in Detriot are now realizing they unknowingly witnessed Cornell's last show ever.

After a 1984-1997 run that solidified them as icons of rock, Soundgarden reunited in 2010 and began touring again. Their spring tour kicked off at the end of May, and there were six more dates left on the trek. However, looking back at clips from Wednesday night's gig, it's hard to come to terms with the fact that the show will not go on.
