Roots Picnic 2017 Lineup Revealed: Pharrell, Solange, Lil Wayne & More!

The 10th annual Philadelphia event will also feature 21 Savage & Kimbra, Thundercat, among others.

The lineup for the 2017 Roots Picnic has arrived, and it looks like the 10th annual Philadelphia event will be packed full of huge artists come June 3. The legendary Roots band will back Pharrell as the headliner, with Solange and Lil Wayne also on the bill.

J. Period and Black Thought will bring their Live Mixtape to the music festival, inviting friends Fat Joe, Mobb Deep and Scott Storch along with them. Other acts scheduled to hit the stage at the Festival Pier at Penn's Landing include 21 Savage, Kimbra, Thundercat, Virgil Abloh, Michael Kiwanuka, Pete Rock, A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie, James Vincent McMorrow and NoName.

Rounding out the lineup, Gilles Peterson feat. MC Earl Zinger, Khalid, DJ Spinna, PNB Rock, Tunji Ige, Anthony Somebody and DJ N.O.C. will also heat up the stage.
