Paramore's After Laughter album swirls in self-doubt and misery, but it's not reflected in their melodies and rhythms. In fact, After Laughter is the album equivalent of the phrase "dance the pain away." Their second single, "Told You So," is the epitome of that example -- it's catchy as hell, while frontwoman Hayley Williams sings about the dread of righteous and manipulative forces around her.

The Nashville band visited The Late Late Show with James Corden on Wednesday night to play "Told You So," and it was the most fun I think the late show has ever had. Paramore dressed themselves in scarlet from head to toe, and a similarly hued light drenched them in red as they bounced around to the funky track.

"For all I know / The best is over and the worst is yet to come / Is it enough / To keep on hoping when the rest have given up," Williams sang, adorned in yellow-colored lenses and a red beret. Guitarist Taylor York spilled out a complicated run of of bell-toned notes off his fretboard, while Zac Farro went wild on a hefty drum set.

Paramore will soon embark on their tour in support of their fifth album, which also includes the single, "Hard Times." They announced the first two legs of their tour, which will wind around Europe in June before coming across the Atlantic to North America. Catch the tickets right here.
