Nicki Minaj had a big day on Monday (June 26). Not only did she perform at the 2017 NBA Awards, but she got a special award of her own. That very night, the Queens, New York, rapper received the key to her hometown from Borough President Melinda Katz.

Minaj's performance began with some pre-taped footage of her in a Greek toga -- the same footage she has been teasing all last week. As images of the silk draped goddess floated on screen, 2 Chainz kicked off the set with his feature on "Recognize." Nicki entered the stage on a golden lounger, carried by metallic-garbed men (with abs). As she rapped her verses on the track, there was a brief moment of tranquility in the night, which featured high-energy wins and laughs from host (and Cash Money labelmate) Drake.

Minaj transitioned into "No Frauds," written with Drake and Wayne in Paris, throwing the vibes into a higher gear. She kept an air of royalty by mimicking the song's music video and staying noble. After a quick snippet of "No Frauds," she launched into Katy Perry's "Swish Swish," an appropriately themed diss track sprinkled with basketball references. She ran through her rapid fire feature as her dancers flashed mirrors in her direction to assure her that, yes, she is the fairest of them all.

Here's Nicki's new key, complete with a DJ Khaled quote:

And here's an Instagram post where Nicki flaunts her recent accomplishments -- and you can clearly see how she's ever-deserving of ALL the keys:

Attention‼️ I love God. According to Universal Records, this year alone, my album catalogue sold 325K worldwide and #ThePinkprint is now at 4 Million worldwide‼️ Since January, I've received 11 billboard entries, and yesterday with that ASCAP award, I became the most awarded female rapper in history‼️To top it all off, this year I received the title for most Hot 100 entries by any woman in the HISTORY of MUSIC. A title previously held by Aretha Franklin for 40 years.👑 They don't want you to post your achievements & accomplishments. It makes them uncomfortable. But you must! B/c everyday, ppl broadcast your failures. They shout them to the mountain tops. So never EVER stop posting your accomplishments. I love my fans so much. Thank you. 🙏🏽 #NBAAwards Monday. Can't wait for you guys to see my performance❣️
