Misterwives are back for round two -- the funk pop band have emerged from their New York studio with their sophomore album, and now they've filled out dates for a supporting tour.

Connect the Dates is the common-sense follow-up their 2015, Our Own House, adding to their symphony of saxes and synths to Mandy Lee's howling vocals and brand-new melodies. The album kicks off with the single "Machine," which declares them independent from The Man while serving up a raucous party. The rest of the project follows suit -- there are danceable beats, singable tunes, and all the trombone you could need. It's 2017's easy-breezy listen for a rebellious, reckless summer.

On Friday, tickets became available for Misterwives' Connect the Dots tour, which follows their current Band Camp Tour. With Smallpools and Vinyl Theatre joining it, the tour will kick off in Nashville on September 19. They hit the West Coast before coming back East for more shows by the end of October. More shows are to be announced.
