Metallica Announce North American WorldWired Tour Dates

The metal legends hit stadiums starting in May.

Metallica will bring its WorldWired 2017 tour to more than two dozen North American stadiums this spring and summer, the band announced today (Feb. 13). The tour dates, which start at Baltimore’s M&T Bank Stadium on May 10 and roll through mid-August, will feature Avenged Sevenfold and Volbeat as opening acts.

Tickets for the U.S. and Canadian Metallica dates in support of the band's recent album Hardwired...to Self-Destruct go on sale on February 17. Pre-sales begin Feb. 14, with the Live Nation mobile app presale beginning Feb. 17 at 10 am EST.

The announcement of North American dates comes right on the on the heels of Metallica’s blistering collab with Lady Gaga at the Grammys last night (Feb. 12).
