With her sophomore album Melodrama hatching from its shell in a few days, Lorde has announced tour dates in support of the project. The Melodrama World Tour will span from Australia to Europe, including six shows in her home country of New Zealand.

The tour kicks off on September 26 at the O2 Apollo Manchester. Khalid will open on the European dates, which includes stops in Netherlands, France, Belgium, Spain, Germany, Italy and more. The former teen prodigy is also scheduled for five shows in Australia, ending there on November 26.

Asian, North American and South American dates have yet to be announced, but Lorde has promised shows in America.

Fans who sign up for the Lorde mailing list will get access to the pre-sale code. The New Zealand and Australia pre-sale starts on June 13 at 12 p.m. and 10 a.m local time respectively. U.K. and Europe pre-sale starts on June 14 at 10 a.m. local time.

To celebrate the tour announcement, Lorde will release a new song at midnight. She teased fans on Twitter that the track title starts with an "S," prompting observers to predict "Sober," which she's been playing live.
