The '70s rock resurgence is real, and its making its way across America with this tour.

Deep Purple, Alice Cooper and the Edgar Winter Group are coming together for an epic rock tour through the U.S. Just announced today, the 19-stop tour will begin Saturday, August 12 in Las Vegas and will hit most major cities like Los Angeles, Houston, Boston and Cooper’s hometown of Detroit.

Metal pioneers Deep Purple will have a new album out this April, entitled Infinite, which will feature 10 new tracks with no musical boundaries, fostering the spirit of the '70s. With five studio albums released since 1996, the band will cover decades of fan favorites for this run.

Known as the “Godfather of Shock Rock," Alice Cooper has rocked the status quo for decades, delivering heavy metal hits to generations of rock fans. His live show will feature his classic anthems like “School’s Out,” “I’m Eighteen” and “No More Mr. Nice Guy,” among his newer songs and fan-favorites.

Over the past few years, Cooper has made a significant return to rock with his cover band Hollywood Vampires that also includes actor Johnny Depp and Aerosmith member Joe Perry. Are we really surprised to see Alice return to lead the rock comeback after the success of Hollywood Vampires?

Cooper and Deep Purple will also be joined by special guest Edgar Winter, who lives on the cutting edge of music and style rather than riding the wave to popular music. With over 20 albums under his belt, he is continuously evolving his art and stretching his skill and imagination to produce hits like “Frankenstein” and “Free Ride."
