The Nashville Predators beat out the Chiacgo Blackhawks in a 3 to 2 win in overtime on Monday, putting them another game ahead in the NHL Playoffs with a 3-0 advantage. Perhaps Carrie Underwood rubbed a little country magic into the game with a opening that came as a total surprise to the Predators.

Without prior announcement, Underwood pranced onto the ice last night wearing the #12 jersey of Predators team captain Mike Fisher, her husband. And while Fisher might've known that his wife was going to sing the National Anthem, his teammates definitely didn't.

“I had no clue,” Predators goaltender Pekka Rinne told USA Today about Underwood's surprise. “I’m like, ‘Whoa.’”

Underwood's team spirit was strong -- even her nails were decked out in the Predators' blue and yellow colors.

The Predators and Blackhawks advance to Game 4 in the series on Thursday, and Chicago has to pull off four wins in a row to advance to the next round.

#Smashville has completely gone crazy!!!! 3-0 baby!!! One more! @predsnhl
