Happy New Year! We come bearing news of the FULL Coachella 2017 Lineup, including our Queen, Beyoncé, who will be the first female headliner for the desert festival in a DECADE. Kendrick Lamar and Radiohead are closing out Friday and Sunday night, respectively.

Also on the lineup: Lorde, Bishop Briggs, the XX, Tove Lo, Tacocat, Broods, Phantogram, Banks, Róisín Murphy, Kehlani, Empire of the Sun, Glass Animals, Bastille, Future, Grouplove, New Order, Father John Misty and... Hans Zimmer? Yep. We rubbed the sleep dust out of our eyes, took a second look and INDEED, the iconic German composer who scored blockbuster films like Interstellar, Inception, The Dark Knight and The Lion King (to name a FEW) is on the bill for Sunday. THAT has the potential to be a transcendental experience, maybe even "topping the drinking a lemonade while watching Beyoncé perform Lemonade" idea we have.

Passes for both weekends in April go on sale tomorrow, January 4 at 11am PST. Set your alarms, because we're going to make an educated guess that it'll sell out faster than a sneeze.

Blink-182 frontman Mark Hoppus has jokes:

Jokes aside, we are excited and hope this means Lorde will be blessing us with some NEW MUSIC this year. A blogger can dream, right?

We also have those intuitive goosebumps on the rise, because last year so many festivals shared headliners... this could be the beginning of an insanely good (and hopefully diverse) festival season, and maybe even one that reps a fair share of female musicians! Fingers crossed. Shades on. Let's do this, 2017.
