And they’re just two of six global artists who recently recorded a new version of American Authors’ “Best Day of My Life”. The corresponding interactive music video which showcases seven bright energy ideas has generated over 250 million views to date!
Jennifer Hudson is a true “triple threat.” The dynamo has made her mark on music, stage, and film. But for all her industry accolades, the legacy she’s most focused on is her son’s. “I know all about growing up in hardship. My son David turned seven, and I want him to grow up and inherit a planet where everyone is working together for the greater good.” Jennifer’s many charity commitments, especially those to childhood education, aim to ensure that generations to come will have the training and skills to collaborate on science and technology solutions for a brighter future.
Fellow artist Luan Santana has a deep commitment to making an impact in his native country, Brazil, a place of stunning natural beauty and biodiversity. A portion of proceeds from the sales of Luan Santana’s latest DVD, 1977, will go towards the Insolar project to continue to fund the installation of more solar panels in low-income communities, providing them with cleaner, more sustainable energy. “I am honored to be one of the six artists participating in this project,” Santana said. “Music produces an exchange of energy between audience and artist, and I hope #makethefuture rocks the five continents as it takes its energy relay around the world.”
Meanwhile, the other artists associated with #makethefuture—British performer Pixie Lott, American DJ/Producer Steve Aoki, Chinese pop star Tan WeiWei and Nigerian idol Yemi Alade—are doing their part to stand for innovation, cleaner energy and sustainability.
